In honor of White Cane Day coming up on October 15th the Jamestown Lions Club will be holding its annual White Cane Sale at Walmart on Friday September 30 from 9am to 8pm. Look for a local Lions Club Member to donate to a worthy cause.
Over the years the Jamestown Lions Club has supported many causes and have striven to assist the sight and hearing impaired in Jamestown to our utmost. We ask that you consider joining us at Bob Evans on Friday December 7 for an all day event from 10am to 10pm to raise funds to help the sight and hearing impaired in Jamestown. Simply print off this Bob Evans Coupon flyer and present it from 10am to 10pm at Bob Evans on December 7, 2012 to have a portion of your check donated to the Jamestown Lions Club. We hope to see you there and thank you in advance for your support.
Recently the Jamestown Lions Club partnered with the Southside Redemption Center to allow anyone to drop off their recyclable cans and bottles and donate the money to help aid the community through the Jamestown Lions. We are always looking for new opportunities to serve our community and Jason and Robert Porter from the Southside Redemption Center have allowed us another avenue to generate revenue to do so. The money from the donated recyclables will go back to the community to aid in assistance with our blind friends, vision screenings, and additional community services that look to expand and better the people who live and work here. If you would like more information or are interested in donating some recyclables for the Jamestown Lions just drop your cans off at The Southside Redemption center and let them know they are for The Jamestown Lions Club.
